In your world, was it more common to have blades, rifles, or did you use something else entirely? I'm curious now.
Les Mis is a story about a lot of characters, but the main story is of a man named Jean Valjean. He was punished severely for stealing a loaf of bread in order to provide for his family. When he got out of jail, he decided to go on a path of revenge. But later on he realized that it was more important to be a good man no matter how much your past catches up to you.
There are other stories around it involving a revolution and friendships and people falling in love. But it's better if you see it instead of, well. Reading it from me or listening to me sing, which I'm not sure is something you'd like to sit through.
For most of my life, blades. Then everyone in the world had their guns pointed at me.

Sounds like my kind of story. I can relate a lot to a premise like that. The rest not so much, but I'm sure it only adds to it all instead of detracting from the main idea. You said I can read it? I'll get a copy immediately.
Maybe we can watch it as well. No harm in that. Unless you've watched it to death yourself.

My tastes are pretty typical. I enjoy books, watching films, and weapon maintenance. I would ask the same of you, what beyond good food do you enjoy?

Weapon maintenance. You're killing me. Do you have a particular preference?
I like watching musicals, actually. My favourite is Les Mis. Have you heard of it?

Not in my life. Tell me about it. I won't pretend to be a fan of musicals as I've never seen a single one, but I could give it a shot.
